During the first appointment, a consultation will determine whether you are a good candidate for implants. After an examination and x-rays, the dentists will choose the type of implants and prostheses (crowns, dentures, bridges) and assess the need for bone grafting. You will receive a full treatment estimate. The surgical phase, including extractions, bone grafts and implant placement, may be followed by a 3 to 6 month healing period before proceeding to the prosthetic phase.
